CA Attorney General Attempts To Torpedo State Anti-Cap And Trade Bill

Attorney General Jerry Brown attempted to torpedo the California anti-cap-and-trade bill by changing its name.

The bill is intended to roll back California’s cap and trades laws until there is a marked improvement in the state’s current unemployment.

Originally named the ‘California Jobs Initiative’, Mr. Brown changed the name to the ‘Suspends Air Pollution Control Laws Requiring Major Polluters To Report And Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions That Cause Global Warming Until Unemployment Drops Below Specified Level For Full Year Initiative.’

Hmm, I am not sure what Mr. Brown is thinking, because it sure sounds like something I would vote for :-)
