Rep Paul Ryan Schools Rep Debbie Wasserman-Schultz On Fox News Sunday

Rep Paul Ryan brings in his ‘Ross Perot’ chart to disprove the Democrat talking points of Rep Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on Fox News Sunday.

The vote is today and Democrats will continue their fairy tale analysis until the bill passes.  If ObamaCare was the sunshine and rainbows they are playing it up to be, they would not have to lie to the nation, twist arms, threaten, bribe or refuse to listen, in order to pass a bill that the majority of Americans ‘do not want’.

This is no longer about politics.  Politicians seek to gain public favor with their lies and deceptions.  This has become a day of reckoning.  Will America continue to be a free nation, or slip further into the darkness of socialism?

Our current rulers, you can no longer consider them representatives of the people, are taking control against the will of the people.  This is socialism.  They are power mad and have declared themselves free of public discord.  They have become tyrants.

The bright side of this issue is that they have awakened the public outrage.  People are paying more attention to government than they have since the Carter years.  They are on the march and they are angry.

Hope is that the few remaining conservatives in government can hold on against the socialist tide and minimize the damage.  A new conservative agenda, led by Rep Paul Ryan types, may be able to turn back the Democrat Social Elites and place their socialist agenda back into the cesspool it belongs.

On a personal note, I have to say I am really impressed with Rep Paul Ryan.  Look for him to do great things for this country in the coming years.  However, we must continue to pay attention and not take our eye off the ball 🙂

UPDATE:  In a related article in the New York Times, according to Douglas Holtz-Eakin, who was the director of the Congressional Budget Office from 2003 to 2005, the health care reform legislation would raise, not lower, federal deficits, by $562 billion.  That figure is based on a ten-year period that not only includes 2010 as one of the years, but only takes into account 6 years of health care spending.  The actual numbers for a period of 10 years providing health care are much higher.

Added to a projected 700 billion dollar annual increase in deficit spending, which will no doubt be much higher, and one can plainly see that Democrat policies are quickly bankrupting the nation.
