The more articles I read of Chuck Norris the more impressed I am of the man’s knowledge and depth of the issues. His recent article in regards to Wisconsin’s U.S. District Judge Barbara B. Crabb’s ruling that a National Day of Prayer is not constitutional is spot on.
Regarding Crabb’s ruling on the NDP being unconstitutional, Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice Jay Sekulow hit the judicial nail on the head when he said, “It is unfortunate that this court failed to understand that a day set aside for prayer for the country represents a time-honored tradition that embraces the First Amendment, not violates it.”
Even more preposterous logic is found in her words: “In fact, it is because the nature of prayer is so personal and can have such a powerful effect on a community that the government may not use its authority to try to influence an individual’s decision whether and when to pray.”
It is Judge Crabb’s ruling that is not Constitutional. Judge Crabb is placing her own personal opinions into law and ignoring the Constitution. Radicals, like Judge Crabb, cannot be trusted to provide truth and justice when the law conflicts with their own personal beliefs. Their poor decision-making skills reflect their contempt for the rule of law and people in general. They should never be allowed to judge.
This is the problem we face with activist judges being appointed to the bench. Though this judge was appointed under President Jimmy Carter, a one term President, the damage done to justice over the course of time is long-lasting.
I often hear people state that having a Socialist President in the White House may be good for the country in the long run. This has never been proven by history. Historically, the damage done by a leftist President is long-lasting and we never fully recover.
President Carter pulled support from the previous administration’s efforts to create a democratic state of Iran and then allowed radical Islamist to take over Iran. The radical Iranians used their new-found oil money provided power to assist a Syrian attack and take over Lebanon. Lebanon, once the only Christian country in the Middle East, became a stepping stone for Iranian & Syrian backed Hezbollah to attack Israel and spread terrorism throughout the Middle East.
President Carter’s recognition of the PLO allowed Hamas both cover and free rein to attack Israel. There has not been peace in the Middle East since. There will not be peace in the Middle East as long as Iran is controlled by radical Islamist that are bent on the destruction of all things that are not Islam. Thank you President Carter.
That being said, our current President is busy filling judical billets with some of the most radical people in the business. The damage they will do to justice and the rule of law will be long-lasting, cost the taxpayers millions of dollars and further empower the legal organizations that have slowly been taking control of this country for the last 50 years.
With the selection of a new Supreme Court Justice, President Obama is offered another opportunity to assure Progressive (Communist) influence will weigh against the liberties and personal freedoms of every American for decades to come.
If Republicans are smart, they will filibuster any progressive/liberal court nominee and not allow this to happen.
