72% Believe Congress Has It’s Head Up It’s Behind When It Comes To The Economy

According to the latest Rasmussen report, approximately 72% of Americans believe that Congress has its head up its behind , looking through a stained glass window into liberal bizarro World, when it comes to the economy.  In other words, Congress does not have clue what to do in order to correct their disastrous mistakes.

According to Rasmussen (my comments in red)

The latest national telephone survey of Likely Voters finds that just 27% are at least somewhat confident that Congress knows what it’s doing when it comes to addressing current economic problems. An overwhelming majority (72%) are not confident in Congress to address these problems support the American taxpayer in any way, shape or form. These figures include six percent (6%) who are Very Confident and 43% who are Not at All Confident.

Those who earn less than $20,000  per year, who have the most to gain from Socialist benefit programs, express far more confidence in Congress’ economic wisdom than those in any other income bracket.

Since Democrats dominate both the House and Senate, it’s perhaps not surprising that 53% of the Socialist voters in that party are confident in Congress to adequately deal with today’s economic problems. That confidence is shared by only nine percent (9%) of Republicans RINOs and 12% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

An overwhelming majority (88%) of the Political Ruling Class are confident in members of Congress to handle current economic problems. Nine-two percent (92%) of Mainstream voters don’t share that confidence.

Voters consistently for months have said they trust their own economic judgment more than the president’s and that of the average member of Congress.

Sixty-one percent (61%) of Americans say it is better for the economy for the government to stay out of the housing market.

At the end of April, President Obama formally kicked off meetings of his bipartisan, Conservatives need not apply, deficit reduction commission, but most Americans view the commission as cover for Congress the Socialists to raise taxes.

Looking back, most voters still believe the bailout of the financial sector was a bad idea. That’s one reason why 57% of voters have more confidence in the judgment of a member of Congress who voted against bailouts than in the judgment of one the clueless members who voted for them.

Our current Congress does not respect the will of the people.  They dole out Trillions of tax dollars, that they do not have to spend, on Socialist programs that are bankrupting this Nation.

They are selling away the future of the United States with purpose.  And that purpose is to destroy everything that made this Country great.  They hide the truth and sell the lies, because the end game is Socialist Rule of our Nation.

It is one thing to waste money.  It is something totally different when you waste money that you do not have.  Especially when you are stealing money from others, many who are not even born yet.

While the Socialist take control and tell us to tighten our belts, they spend like there is no tomorrow.  President Obama’s recent White House extravaganza is a perfect example of the waste in government and the Socialist mentality that allows Obama to place himself above the American People.  While we suffer 10% unemployment and many are wondering if they will be able to keep their homes, or retire in comfort, our President is turning the White House into a Socialist high society Night Club.  Look at the pictures of the event and tell me honestly that you cannot envision people doing cocaine in the bathrooms.  This is government excess to the extreme.

As Mr. Dick Morris and Ms. Eileen McGann warn that the Financial Regulation Bill is Socialism that will allow the government to simply take over any business, the President and his Socialist Country Club will move forward to destroy what is left of US businesses by granting citizenship, and a costly Socialist benefits package, to 40 million illegal immigrants at a time of 10% unemployment.  Then they will turn their focus toward carbon taxes with the ultimate goal of ending any form of manufacturing in the United States.

This is pure insanity.  Socialism has never worked.  Not one time in history.  It always ends with three classes of people.  The ruling class (Obama, Socialist Billionaires like Soros, etc), their enforcers and the serfs.  As the people in Greece and Venezuela are quickly learning.  Socialism brings nothing but pain and suffering to those that do not prevent its takeover.

Folks, it is 2010 or never.  Conservatives must take this country back and fix this before it is too late.  We can ill afford the suffering of fools.  Remember, while Nero fiddled, Rome burned.  Things are already smoldering in DC as President thin skin and his anti-American Socialist enablers continue enriching themselves while living it up on the public dime.

This uncontrolled Socialist takeover cannot be allowed continue as the nations failure will be catastrophic.

Somewhere, in the distance, a fiddle is being tuned.  Cast your vote for sanity in 2010.

  1. By way of Rand Paul’s election victory the fog over our country’s future is lifting a bit. The Federal Establishment is looking around and seeing a very pointed Dagger of Disgust aimed at it by Americans who are truly fed up with the status quo.

The message sent by the Tea Party is well aligned with that of the U.S. Libertarian Party – in essence, drop the tax rates/welfare programs/entitlements and the excessive regulation of American life. We The People will do battle by and for ourselves without the wretched interference by politicians at all levels – and the country will benefit enormously with an improved economy that will be the envy of the world.

Yes, I find the more the government takes control, the more Libertarian my views become. Christian charity feeds and shelters 80% of our nations homeless and they do it with 1% of the funding our government spends in taking ‘care’ of the other 20%. I could write a book on that subject of government waste.
I believe you are correct that the fog is lifting. Hopefully enough to allow the majority to see through the mist and do the right thing.
Thanks for the comment, I hope you have a great day 🙂

Well, it appears that many of us are in agreement about one true fact. Congress has a habit of creating problems and then voting to spend more of our money fixing the problems they caused.

Yes, it is the bad boat scenario. The definition of a boat is ‘a hole in the water that you pour money into’. Our government cannot acknowledge its’ failures. To do so would be considered political suicide. In order to cover up their misdeeds, they simply pour more money into the problem and double down on their failures in an attempt to hide them.
The public may accept an honest politician that admits mistakes, however the lame stream, Wall St and Socialists would beat them to a political death with the admission.
Sadly, honest government has become an oxymoron, as has government efficiency and government accountability.
There is hope for the future if we can take the government away from the Socialist and do some serious reforms in the way government does business.
Thanks for the comment, I hope you have a really great day 🙂
